The origin of the paddleball game is unknown, but it was embraced many years ago as the most typically Israeli game. The game is primarily played on the beach – mostly during the summer months – by two players who hit a flexible rubber ball with circular wooden rackets. There are no winners or losers in this game
Depict several Israeli paddleball players who are not necessarily among the beach's shapeliest specimens. The statues immortalize the figures at play. Two statues standing face-to-face exemplify a typical Israeli scenario which spark an interest and evoke a smile.
